Finance Department

The Department of Finance is responsible for budgeting, revenue and debt administration, contract administration, risk management, accounts payable, purchasing, payroll, financial reporting, cash/investment management and grant administration.

The function of the department is to provide timely and accurate information through the practice of sound financial management that optimizes the County resources and ensures the financial integrity of Rockdale County.

Mission

The mission of the Department of Finance is to provide leadership, operational oversight and system coordination of financial products and service for Rockdale County.  We add value with accurate, insightful, and timely information, analysis and solutions that promote informed decision-making.
