Unpaved Roads Requests

Property owners that currently live on an unpaved road may request a petition for the street to be paved by the Department of Transportation with certain conditions outlined in Policy #1998-3-9. Upon an 80 percent approval rating of property owners (renters may not sign the petition), the petition will be submitted before the Board of Commissioners by the Department of Transportation. After the concept design has been approved, the final design will be completed and the Department of Transportation will proceed with right-of-way negotiations if necessary.
